Getting Started
How does the process work from start to finish?
It starts with a free discovery call where we learn about your business, goals, and vision. From there, we move through strategy, AI-powered drafting, human-led design refinement, development and testing, SEO optimisation, and finally launch. You'll have visibility at every stage and we'll guide you through each one — no technical knowledge needed on your end.
How long does it take to get a website built?
Most websites are delivered within 7–14 days from the start of the project, depending on the package you choose. The Growth Website package includes priority turnaround (5–7 business days). The actual timeline also depends on how quickly we receive content and feedback from you — we can move as fast as you can.
What information do you need from me to get started?
We'll ask about your business, your target audience, your goals for the website, any brands or websites you admire, and any existing brand assets (logo, colours, imagery) you have. We'll also want to understand what pages and features you need. Don't worry if you don't have everything ready — we'll guide you through it during the discovery call.
Can I request a specific design style or do you decide?
You absolutely have input — it's your website, after all. During the discovery phase we'll ask about styles you like, brands you admire, and the overall feel you want. Our designers then interpret that into a custom design that's unique to your brand. You're not picking from a menu of pre-made styles; this is a collaboration.
AI & Our Process
How exactly is AI used in building my website?
AI handles the heavy, time-consuming parts of the process — generating initial design concepts, structuring layouts, writing clean code foundations, and suggesting content frameworks. This compresses what would normally take weeks into hours. But AI is a starting tool, not the final product. Everything it produces is reviewed, refined, and customised by our human designers and developers.
Does using AI mean my website will look generic or templated?
Not at all. AI gives us speed — it doesn't dictate the final look. Every AI-generated draft passes through our design team, who manually refine typography, colour, spacing, imagery, and layout to suit your specific brand. The result is a website that's as unique and tailored as one built by a traditional agency, delivered in a fraction of the time.
Is a human actually designing my website, or is it fully automated?
A human is absolutely designing your website. Every project has a dedicated designer who personally reviews and refines every page. AI accelerates the early stages, but nothing leaves our studio without a designer's sign-off. We don't do fully automated websites — that's not what we're about.
How do you ensure quality if AI is speeding up the process?
Speed doesn't come at the cost of quality because we have a rigorous multi-stage process. After AI drafting, every site goes through human design refinement, manual cross-browser and device testing, SEO structuring, and a final quality assurance review covering everything from typography consistency to load times. Our checklist has over 40 points — nothing slips through.
Pricing & Packages
What's included in each package?
You can see a full breakdown on our Pricing page, but in summary: the Launch Website (£699 one-time) includes a custom 5-page site with mobile-responsive design and core SEO; the Growth Website (£1,250 one-time) adds up to 10 pages, advanced SEO, a blog section, and priority turnaround; and the Website + Care Plan (£350 setup + £99/month) includes the website plus ongoing hosting, security, updates, and support.
Are there any hidden fees or additional costs?
No hidden fees, ever. The price you see is the price you pay. If your project requires something outside the scope of your package — like custom integrations, extensive copywriting, or extra pages — we'll discuss it upfront and agree on any adjustments before we proceed. You'll never get a surprise invoice.
Can I upgrade my package later or add services afterward?
Yes. You can start with the Launch Website and later upgrade to a Growth Website or add a Care Plan when your business is ready. We'll credit what you've already paid and scope the upgrade to fit your needs — no penalty, no hassle.
Do you offer custom quotes for bespoke projects?
Absolutely. If you have a larger project — like a complex e-commerce store, a multi-language site, or something that doesn't neatly fit our packages — get in touch and we'll put together a tailored proposal with clear pricing and timeline. Every project starts with a free, no-obligation conversation.
Design & Technical
Will my website work well on mobile devices?
Yes — every website we build is fully mobile-responsive. We design and test across phones, tablets, and desktops to ensure your site looks and works beautifully at every screen size. Over half of web traffic is mobile now, so this is a core requirement for every project, not an add-on.
Will my website be optimised for search engines (SEO)?
Yes. SEO is built into our process from the ground up — not bolted on at the end. We structure headings, meta tags, URLs, image alt text, and content with search engines in mind. Every site we deliver is built on clean code that loads fast, which is also a key ranking factor. If you choose the Growth Website package, we include advanced SEO work including keyword-optimised copy structure.
Can I make edits to my website myself after it's built?
Yes. We can set you up with an easy-to-use content management interface so you can update text, swap images, add blog posts, and manage your content without needing to touch code. If you're on a Care Plan, we handle those updates for you — just send us what you need changed.
What platform / technology is my website built on?
Your website is built using React, a modern JavaScript framework used by companies like Meta, Netflix, and Airbnb. This means your site is fast, secure, and built on industry-standard technology. It's hosted on a global CDN for excellent load times worldwide, and you don't need to worry about the technical details — we handle everything.
Do you provide hosting, or do I need my own?
We provide hosting as part of every package. Your site is hosted on a high-performance global CDN with automatic SSL certificates, so it loads fast and stays secure. The Care Plan includes ongoing hosting as part of the monthly fee. If you choose a one-time package without a Care Plan, hosting is included for the first year.
Care Plans & Ongoing Support
What's included in the monthly Care Plan?
The Care Plan (£99/month) includes hosting, security monitoring, up to 3 content updates per month (text changes, image swaps, minor layout tweaks), performance checks, daily backups, ongoing SEO monitoring, and priority support. It's designed to give you total peace of mind so you never have to think about your website.
Can I cancel or change my Care Plan at any time?
Yes. The Care Plan is month-to-month with no long-term contract — you can cancel, pause, or upgrade at any time. If you cancel, you'll keep your website and we'll help you transition smoothly. There are no cancellation fees or penalties.
What happens if my website goes down or has an issue?
If you're on a Care Plan, we monitor your site 24/7 and are alerted to issues before you even notice them. We'll fix it quickly — usually within hours. If you're not on a Care Plan, we're still here to help; just reach out and we'll get it sorted, though response times may vary.
Do you provide content updates after launch?
Yes. Care Plan clients get up to 3 content updates per month included. If you need more extensive changes — like adding new pages, redesigning sections, or building new features — we can scope that as a separate mini-project. For one-time package clients, we're happy to quote for any post-launch updates you need.
Ownership & Legal
Do I own my website once it's completed?
Yes, completely. You own your website, your content, your domain, and your brand assets. We don't hold anything hostage — the work we do belongs to you. If you ever decide to move away from our services, we'll help you transition with full access to everything.
What happens if I want to move my website to another provider later?
You're free to move at any time. We'll provide you with your site files and assist with the transition — no lock-in, no drama, no hard feelings. We'd love for you to stay, but your website is yours and we respect that completely.
Is my business and customer data kept secure?
Yes. Your website runs with automatic SSL encryption (the padlock in the browser bar), your form submissions are stored securely, and we follow industry best practices for data protection. We don't share, sell, or access your data beyond what's needed to provide our service.
Working With Us
How many revisions do I get during the design process?
The Launch Website and Website + Care Plan include one round of revisions. The Growth Website includes two rounds. A revision round means you review the design, send us your feedback, and we make the changes. Most clients are happy after one round — but if you need more, we can discuss it.
What if I'm not happy with the initial design?
We work collaboratively and check in with you throughout the process so there are no big surprises. But if the first design direction isn't hitting the mark, that's exactly what revisions are for. Tell us what's not working and we'll adjust. In the unlikely event that we can't get it right after the included revision rounds, we'll work with you to find a solution.
How do we communicate during the project?
We keep it simple — primarily email and scheduled calls or video meetings. We'll set up a shared space where you can see progress, leave feedback, and track where things stand. You'll have direct access to your designer, not a faceless project manager. We aim to respond to all messages within 24 hours, usually much sooner.
Do you work with businesses outside my local area?
Yes — we're a remote-first agency and work with businesses across the UK. Geography isn't a barrier. We'll communicate via calls and email, and the quality of our work doesn't depend on being in the same postcode. Some of our best client relationships are with businesses we've never met in person.
